DAY TWENTY TWO (22nd August)

 *We all got up early to have a special sugar laden breakfast for Kate's birthday! Popcorn, biscuits, cake, pancakes and bombay mix mmm!

 *We had an amazing day at Mount Lavinia, soaking in the sun on the beautiful golden beach, followed by a seafood bbq on the beach, more paddling in the huge waves (very very exfoliating!) finished with a dip in the hotel pool and a gorgeous hot shower whoo!

*Slightly more reddened we headed back on the bus home, we were invited to Dominics house, where Priyanka is staying, an had a lovely evening of cheese, crackers, chocolate and gin and tonics - the perfect ending to Kates birthday day!

Zoe Grace Fletcher Currently undertaking a PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University within the MIRIAD post-graduate department, I am beginning a practice based academic journey into British wool fibres and new technologies within knitwear design. Graduating with Distinction from a Masters in Fashion and the Environment at London College of Fashion, specialising in hand-knitting and the British Wool Industry, I have worked on a number of knitwear collections (personal and external companies), whilst freelancing and researching for a number of exciting projects. My work revolves around the idea of sustainable fashion from a knitted perspective and the different ways to achieve this incorporating the ideas of slow fashion into mainstream society.
