How is it Christmas time already?

WOW...i'm sure time never flew by this fast when we were little! I can't understand how it has become December already! Although now I come to think about all the things I have crammed into this year (and still have to cram in before 2013 eek!) it scares me! So quick quick updates of latest events:
* We have been touring the Chantico collection across Yorkshire - sneak previews have been popping up everywhere before the official launch in 2013 - we have an amazing array of beautiful alpaca knits, machine and hand knitted by the wonderful Yorkshire ladies - its been so exciting to see the collections come together, and I can't wait to be part of it as it grows!
*DUST collective - me and my amazingly talented friend Emma have been squirrelling away working on a brand new exciting project which mixes vintage and second hand clothing with new ethical pieces, under the name DUST collective we have lots of exciting collaborations in the pipeline, and a small collection if what is to come is now available on ASOS!
* I had an amazing time in London over the past few weeks teaching a number of lectures for The Offset Warehouse (if you haven't heard of them before - check them out - they sell fairtrade, organic, second hand, ethical fabrics and haberdashery items online - they are amazing! I was asked to host a couple of sets of lectures over numerous days on the ins and outs of Ethical Fashion and Ethical Knitwear design - it was a great experience, and the students and designers I met were amazing - I can't wait to see how they impact on the fashion industry in the years to come!
* Fairs Fairs Fairs...this is how I have been spending the rest of my time - getting ready for and attending and selling my knitwear accessories and sewing goods across the North West at various vintage fairs and craft fairs - I love interacting with my customers and seeing what they like and don't like about my collections! Its been great fun - if a little chilly at times!

* There have been some exciting commission knits being worked on in the studio (sometimes to very tight deadlines!) but its been great to get to grips with more designers visions and seeing just how far people want to push hand knit is very exciting...pictures up as soon as their collections have hit the runway!
